Infertility
Infertility affects millions of people of reproductive age around the world. According to World Health Organization, around 48 million couples and 186 million individuals are affected by infertility globally. Infertility can be defined as a failure to conceive or achieve pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. It can be caused by disease or it can also be a result of other health conditions. In the earlier days, infertility was linked only to the female gender. A woman unable to conceive or having difficulty carrying the child was frowned upon. This led to disturbances in the marriage due to societal pressure. Today, science has proved that infertility is not related to a specific gender. It can be caused in both males and females. One-third of infertility cases are due to men, one-third due to women, and one-third due to both of them. The treatment for both primary and secondary infertility is individualised based on a thorough assessment of couples. Our state-of-the-art infertility clinic is equipped with the most advanced equipment and laboratories to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment to patients. Endoscopy
Several gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, or obstructions in the fallopian tube can affect fertility or make it difficult to get pregnant. Gynaecological Laparoscopic or keyhole procedure is a minimally invasive diagnostic procedure to examine the reproductive organs including the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. In this procedure, the patient is administered general anaesthesia. A small incision is created near the belly and a thin laparoscope is introduced into the abdomen to identify gynaecological issues and these problems are corrected through this key hole during the same procedure.
● Gynaecological endoscopy involves the use of specialized instruments to diagnose and treat gynaecological disorders.
● Endoscopy is an advancement in the surgical practice.
● The procedure follows a minimally invasive approach and results in lower complications, rapid recovery, and shorter hospital stay.
